We prepare youth to think, create and innovate in a global context.

Alpha Partners Education is a leading provider of international education services in China led by a diverse team of educators from China, the US and UK. Our mission is to foster creative spirit, critical thinking and international leadership potential in high schools nationwide, building the collaborative strength and dynamism of Chinese youth as global citizens.

In partnership with some of the most highly regarded high schools, universities and other educational institutions across China, the US and Europe, we develop and manage a broad range of international curricula, extracurricular training, global exchange programmes and other services designed to prepare Chinese students for a global future.

Our most valued partners are Chinese public high schools, and we have continued to grow and adapt our programmes and services over the years to form integrated solutions that enable these schools provide a more international education for their students. Our core expertise can be broadly grouped into three services areas: International Curricula, Model United Nations and High School Exchanges.

We founded our first international curricula centre at the High School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University in 2012 focusing on the US Advanced Placement curriculum, and currently support international curricula programs for International Divisions at several highly regarded public high schools around China.

Our current services include:

  • AP Center Management: we provide tailored AP-centered international curricula programs at key Chinese high schools, including coordinated curriculum design, recruitment and management of foreign teachers and academic quality management;
  • AP Student/Teacher Training: we run a series of intensive AP workshops for students and teachers from our own and other international curricula centers nationwide throughout the year;
  • College Counseling: we provide highly personalized school-based college counseling services to students preparing to apply to universities and colleges abroad.

Our founders were among the first Chinese students to participate in MUN at a college level, and have been at the forefront of introducing MUN into Chinese high school level since 2005 via the Peking University National Model United Nations Conference for High School Students (PKUNMUN) and other training programs. MUN is now the most popular high school extracurricular programme in China, with MUN clubs in over 600 high schools nationwide.

Our current services include:

  • MUN Club Development: we provide full-service support to schools in developing their own MUN programme, including delegate and faculty advisor training, curricula material and other learning resources;
  • Regional Conferences: in partnership with our overseas partners, we select several high schools with strong MUN programmes to co-sponsor premium provincial conferences around China each year;
  • Independent Programs: we independently run several premium MUN-based local training and overseas conference programs in the summer and winter holidays for students at our partner schools.

Our team is made up of former ‘foreign students’ at high schools and universities in the US, Singapore, Australia, France, Austria, the UK and China, and our personal experiences invariably confirm the effectiveness of educational exchange in building mutual respect and understanding across cultures.

We believe that high schools worldwide share a common responsibility to provide an international learning environment for their students, and suggest that building effective exchange programmes between schools is an important way of achieving this. We manage sister school relationships between Chinese and foreign high schools, executing sustainable exchange programmes for students right the way up to administrators.

Our current services include:

  • Administrators: we regularly organise two-way educational exchanges for administrators from China, the US and UK under our Alpha exChanges framework. Administrators visit several schools and attend workshops on the education systems and teaching pedagogies in the host country;
  • Teachers: we facilitate and manage teacher exchanges under our Alpha exChanges framework, creating attractive professional development opportunities for teachers and a mechanism for schools to strengthen their Chinese language and international curricula programmes respectively;
  • Students: we facilitate and manage many different student exchanges under our Alpha exChanges framework. Schools host students for periods stretching from a day right up to a full academic year depending on the programme.
